Some guys are smooth, unreadable-dangerous in a way that makes your pulse do things it shouldn't. But hey, who doesn't have a little emotional damage these days? Then the weird stuff starts. The calls. The messages. The undeniable feeling that someone's watching you. Totally normal, right? (Wrong.) My Kidnapper Likes Me
I was walking to work one morning when a bag gets thrown over my head and I'm jerked back by two arms encircling my waist. My parents always told me this could happen as my father is the judge and put a high profile murderer behind bars. He set the bail at 1.2 million dollars and I honestly don't know why my father is still alive. I was in the courtroom but the little girl who was sitting next to me- maybe thirteen, so not really little- said there's no way he did it. Kids are a pretty good judge of character but I had to agree that some things looked off when the evidence was shown. The next thing I know the bag is pulled up some and a rag is put over my mouth and nose. I cringe inwardly at how cliché it is but hey chloroform does the trick and I'm out before we started moving.Complete

"Lost Friends To Lovers" Dad told me real love happens once and when it does, never hide your feelings. Too bad, he told me late. I held them and lost her. Until I found her again. Blue-eyed, brown hair. That dimple on the right cheek, it hasn't changed much. Well, she hasn't changed much either. I can feel her body exuding the same warmth as the old times, her innocence still shining bright like it used to. This little surprise is racing my heart even when she is far from me...wait? Far? With her eyes busy finding something in her handbag, she is coming toward me. Me. Is my back erecting? What is she doing here? In a school? Is she my son's teacher? I find myself curious now. The thing is I'm twenty-one, I'm in the middle of experiencing this twenty-one, and I have only recently been able to experience my version of a "Disney Land", called Castro Street, because at seventeen I never received that $150 fake ID I paid for online. So listen to me, I normally pay ten dollars for a shot of Jack at the club where as for this lovely Safeway I get the whole bottle of Jack for just a one time payment of fifteen dollars! What happens after this is an experience, so let me learn my lesson. One lesson out of millions I learn on being stupid while sounding very logical.Complete

I'd Live For You, If Only I Could (Completed)
*Mitch POV* I knew something was wrong when I couldn't breathe. It was in the middle of our social studies lesson for the day, and I tried to take a breath. All that happened was worse suffocation. Being twelve, I didn't handle it well. I opened my mouth to try to speak, but all that came out was an odd sounding croak. My teacher hushed me. But someone sitting next to me looked at me and noticed how pale I looked, or noticed that tears were welling in my eyes and I was drooping. I wrapped my hands around my throat seconds before I blacked out. That was only the first instance. In the time that I was unconscious, my lungs filled with fluid and I almost died. I was out for nearly two days, and my parents really thought that I would die. I vaguely remember hearing my mom crying while I couldn't open my eyes, and my dad telling her that maybe it was just my time and they had to let me go. But then I woke up, and the fluid had been drained from my lungs. I spent a while more in the hospital, and in that time, my parents found out that I had cancer. It had been determined that I probably wouldn't live much longer, maybe three months at the most. The conversation was happening outside my room, where I was supposed to be asleep, but I still heard the whole thing. What I remember most is my mom's sobs.Complete

Some one once told me not to cry over spilled milk or some shit like that. I soon learned not to cry over spilled pills. Yes you might be thinking Charlie you have the saying wrong. Charlie your crazy to think that but my answer is it's true. My journey makes no sense and I don't expect it too but at least I'm here for the ride to pick up the pills that have been dropped.Complete
