With Chelsea Frayer’s senior year having started off less then perfect, she just wishes things could go back to normal. Sadly, normality doesn’t seem to be in the cards for her anytime soon. Two weeks before schools begins, Danny, her long time boyfriend and the love of her life, cheats on her with her best friend Sydney. Tiffany, her perfect eighteen-year-old sister, is pregnant and living in their parents’ basement with her fiancé. Her parents are possibly getting a divorce – that is if they can stop having affairs and then making up by doing the nasty. She’s stuck as school vice president, a job that requires her to spend way too much time with class president Danny. And, to top it all, the principle has just been fired after he was caught stealing from the school, leaving the student council pretty much broke.
Can Chelsea juggle a dysfunctional family, a flirty maybe not-so-ex, and a scheming best friend – all the while trying to save senior year? Let’s not even mention a certain brooding, artistic, musician who she might want to be more than friends with? What’s a good girl to do…?
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
