The Year is 1970...
Castiel was comfortable living in the shadow of his older sister, Anna. She was always in the spot light while he preferred to stay in the background, listening to The Beatles and minding his own business.
Castiel's safe way of living comes to an end when Anna brings him to one of her protest rallies, where four people are shot dead.
The tragedy awakens something inside of Cas, a fire in his heart that burns even brighter than his sisters.
Castiel now has something to stand for. His fight for peace leads him to meeting Dean, who is as opposite from Cas as anyone could be: reckless, troubled, and apathetic to the rest of the world. The two couldn't be more different, yet they are drawn to each other.
But as Castiel's life keeps getting bigger...Dean's is running short. He can't get rid of the demon's from his past. He fears he isn't strong enough to defeat them on his own, can Cas save Dean from himself?
Or is it too late?

Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes.
