After the Storm

Riggs didn't have anything to lose. Life was passing him by one day at a time since the accident that nearly took it. He prayed every night that he wouldn't wake up, but until then he needed something to keep busy.

Emmaleigh had her hands full since her father passed away, leaving her in charge of a run down, nearly bankrupt ranch. Leaving behind her successful career, she promised herself she would at least try to bring the Lazy J ranch back to its former glory, the way she remembered it when her momma had been alive. All she needed was some good help, cheap help at that, because she was finding out it was too hard to do alone.
