Dallas Sutton is my name. i'm 17 years old and i've lived on the ark my whole life. my father was on the council and my mom died while giving birth to me so it's just been and my dad my whole life although he has always blamed me for her death so me and him weren't close at all. on my 13th birthday i had came home from school and my father was drunk. as soon as i came through the door, he attacked me, hitting me, calling me a murderer, saying things that just made me want to end it all. but i knew that it was not my fault, i didn't purposely kill my mother. so i lost it. all of my built up anger had just exploded. i grabbed the chair sitting beside with the little table in the corner of the room and hit him across the head with it. he fell to the floor with me on top of him punching him over and over and over in the face. i had blood all over me and bruises on my hand. chancellor jaha had knocked on the door to get my father for a council meeting. i didn't answer it, i just sat in the corner of the room holding my knees, covered in my fathers blood, knowing he was dead. Jaha finally broke through the door, finding me, then calling guards to arrested me for murder. i've been in prison for 4 years and i don't regret any of my actions towards my father.
