Then you get those small few who don't want to be married. Who are happy to live their life without a legally binding commitment with someone who they might not even love but just said yes to the proposal because they didn't have the heart to reject the other person or are forced into that marriage through domestic abuse. So many thoughts were running through my mind as Liam and I stood there, face-to-face, ready to do something that could escalate my like for him or even change his perspective of me in a good or bad way.
