Shade, a new trainer in the Alola region will start his adventure to complete the island trials, along the way meeting friends, rivals, and Pokemon. But a trainer isn't all he is going to be.
Note: This story will have small shipping moments, not a full blown ship made.
(I have been wanting to do this for a while, ever since I listened to Trickywi's song "In Your Spotlight" and Popplio is my favorite Sun and Moon starter so this is obviously going to focus on Popplio as well. Hope you all enjoy, this is going to be a fun story.)

He's learnt to trust his gut since he was younger, and some of the people he meet don't come off as nice as they look on the outside. What's going to happen throughout this adventure?
