Broken Mirror

For seventeen year old Kelly Rosa, being the most popular girl in school is not enough, she also needs legs fast enough to outrun her deepest, darkest secret. A secret that causes her to masquerade around school everyday as a self-absorbed snob so no one will be suspicious of her pain.

Kelly's parents soon tire of the nightmare surrounding their daughter's life and make a desperate attempt to put distance between Kelly and he secret. This moves the family from the city to a farm in a small country town.

But the city folks have a difficult time trying to master country living, so they enlist the help of Blair Calhoun, a rugged teenager with his own set of issues.

As Blair teaches Kelly the ins and outs of working on a farm, Kelly soon learns that beneath Blair's tough exterior is a frightened young man who is also trying to escape his own fears. This commonality is the glue that seals them together in a unique friendship.

Inevitably, their demons close in on them. And the chase is finally over when Kelly and Blair stop running and face their fears together with a show of remarkable strength.
