Marianne deClairton is engaged to the prince, and while they are friends, they're not in love. A bit of romance might catch Marianne unawares soon, however... along with a touch of adventure.
It is incredibly frustrating to me that out of all the ideas I've had, the first story I might actually get somewhere with is almost exclusively romantic. We'll see how this turns out.
clean romance, with a bit of action
Made up setting with semi-realistic/historically influenced surroundings
Short Story- Novella length when finished
1st draft, might suck, feel free to comment on any problems, especially character/personality inconsistencies, I'm very nervous about that.
Title is a spur of the moment make up, give me a break.
