Lead by Shiningstar, their terrifying leader, they lead a wake of destruction behind them. Until, the leaders of the other clans, Hundredstar, Stormstar, and Grovestar merged into one fighting force, and destroyed Shiningstar's army. She and her clan of monsters were banished away from the borders of the clans where the air was said to be supernaturally cold, and forced upon them the name of SilencedClan. But history is always written by the victor. SilencedClan, after multiple cycles, is still persisting away from the other clans. Chromekit, a lovely SilencedClan kit and then apprentice, hunts farther from her home than she thought. She meets two strange apprentices, Sunpaw and Snowpaw, and easily befriends them. But, with the coming of the strangers, the lost clan's destiny is once again tangled with the other three. A dark army is rising, seemingly even stronger than the original, fearsome ShiningClan warriors. Chromepaw is immediately placed in the thick of it all, with her new friends trailing behind her. Stars entwine in the darker night as the sky cries stars of pity for those below. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Rising from the Ashes
The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change. They proposed that volunteers from the other three Clans should join GrassClan to help restore it. Cats were given one moon to consider the offer. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. She realized that the sacrifices a medicine cat must make are almost too much as she meets the handsome LichenClan warrior, Branchfur. She believes he could give her the world, but he takes everything away from her. Branchfur was trained under one code: LichenClan comes first, always. He had no problems following this rule until he sees the beautiful SunClan medicine cat, Poppyfur.
