[WARNING: Cringy AF. Proceed at your own risk]

After an Artificial intelligence automaton war, the AI war as it is known destroys most of the populace in the world, certain experiments are held to make sure people have the same luxury as having an AI robot but that's not it. It's the Robotic simulation prototype (alpha), the specially designed humans to fill the place of the once allies called automatons.

They are humans of flesh and bones who were designed down till the genes to be superior to homo-sapiens. Each one carries a special extended ability that allows them to perceive more and their boosted immune system helps to heal faster than ever like a device. Traped under the chains of homo-sapiens, robbed of their human rights and experimented on in secret at a far away base; they have a will of their own too. They are humans too.

What will they do with the gifts given to them?
Who made the first successful designed human?
Is it a completely different specie that guided in the making of designed humans?
Why is it all a secret?
What happened to the automatons?
Why was the war waged in the first place? Will they ever be free?
Is the government hiding something from the people?

It's a long history of events that was concealed away from the world, a secret document.

Does it remain a secret?
Why did they keep it a secret?

Seventy-four years has been long enough. The way of the infamous Hunger Games has been altered. No longer is every Gamemaker out to devise the worst means of torture and death for every tribute. No longer are the people of Panem outwardly tolerant of President Snow's murderous actions. Under the facade of a normal group of Gamemakers, several rebellious citizens have begun an experiment which, if it succeeds, will make use of technology both to rescue the tributes before they are dead and then deposit the brainwashed children back in time. They have to try it. No one knows what horrors future Hunger Games may bring, and the desperate rebels are willing to try anything. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions of District 2, Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have trained their whole lives for the Games. Nevertheless, their ambitions change when they, without meaning to, find themselves in the Games together. They are both determined to win. But if they don't, what will happen to them? The brainwashed tributes who land in New York City know nothing of who they are or where they are from. They do not remember Panem, or the Games, or even their own names. This is a science fiction story based off the Hunger Games and its characters. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Hunger Games! This story is based around a plot twist I created, but all rights go to Suzanne Collins, the author of the original series. Disclaimer no. 2: this was a first draft written by a very awkward fifteen-year-old me; please treat it as such. Where the Administrators rule all. Soon Meta will be tested. If she fails she be taken away to one of the Institutes for the 'impaired'. If she ends up in an institute she will be forced to wear the armband and color for her disability. After a chance meeting, she starts to change. For Meta, the digital world and the real world start to...mingle. Is she going mad or is she becoming a Cyb0rg? As her powers grow is she sinking into becoming a machine? Should she drag others down with her? What if her only tenuous thread back to humanity is to cling tightly to a paraplegic boy called Brooklyn? Will he let go? Why does he hold on? Meta will be the first of her kind, but what will she do, not to be the last? As Meta peels back her history she discovers the real tempest of her own existence. Soon hunted by the Administrators she has to flee. But who are the real shadow puppet masters? What do they want? Why do they feed the hate hysteria of the impaired? Why would they hunt for the last h@cker the daughter of root? This is a very dark, prequel to Cyborg's Pet. If you want to know how the AI revolt came about, it's here. This is also my most autobiographical book to date. Enjoy the vulnerability. New chapters every Thursday. Be ready for many distressing scenes and content. Adult themes. Including but not limited to adultery, predatory grooming, risk of rape, assault, beatings, references to suicide, references to sex and much more.

Humanity. It goes beyond the common definition of: "a collective group of humans". It's a sense of benevolence. One may act; 'for the sake of humanity' and there are; 'crimes against humanity'. We're supposed to be proud of the human race, yet... humans are self-destructive. A group of elite alien race came to Earth and proved once and for all that we were our own worst enemy. They weren't wrong. but it was too late. They managed to save Earth- eradicating pollution and reversing global warming but they killed anyone who got in their way and indoctrinated the rest. Those who remained revolted. World War III resulted- killing the planet. The War ended but the battle was not won. The fight continues on, despite the destroyed society and Earth we call home. It's a relentless fight between those who want the world to go back to the way it was and those who still fight to hold on to their humanity- no matter what. We self-destruct but we also fight for what's right. It's a delicate balance- it's an art form.
