    What if Red Riding Hood were set in our modern reality? Would it still be as magical?
    
    A town is haunted by a serial killer known as "The Wednesday Slasher".  This infamous killer has a signature of killing a brunette beauty each Wednesday. The hopeless police seem to not find anything and every time they seem to come a step closer to the truth The Wednesday Slasher disappears and when he comes back the next Wednesday, he makes his kill more brutal than before.
    
    In the middle of this mess, lies Rowan Ridley-Hathaway. A sixteen year old girl with an infatuation with the colour red. 
    
    Rowan though, is anything but some normal girl.
    
    When Catherine, Rowan's mother decides to send her to live with her Grandmother in the small town the Wednesday Slasher is inhabiting, Rowan finds herself smack dab in the middle of a dilemma she won't be able to get out of.
