A few years ago this was a short story for a winter contest, however I am expanding it into a full on novel(:

Years ago, Elise Barnes was forced to clean her room, Christmas had only been days away. However, while she's tossing things every which way, she finds a flaw in one of the floorboards of her closet. When she pulls out a mysterious looking mirror from its confines, she is taken on a magical journey to something right out of her fantasies
Now, six years later, with the gift of a Pure Fae, she is called back to the wintery realm for a much needed visit. However while she is there she is caught in a whirlwind of love and war for she is the missing link to a long forgotten prophesy. Will she choose to stay where she is needed? Or go back to earth where she is from?
