This is a continuation and extension of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, taking a turn for the worse when Red's granny somehow survives the belly of the wolf that almost stole her life away. She makes a transformation that is still questioned, and it causes her to lose sight of her purpose and kind, gentle nature at this stage of her life. She's overtaken by a serious illness that alters her intentions, becoming a danger to society.
