He takes down the hood on my head. His eyes were glowing underneath the moonlight. "You made a mistake coming here" his dark voice growls. I couldn't help but stare at him. His facial features were like nothing seen before. "Someone was to nice when they made you" I stand my ground, watching as he circles me like a predator. "You dare threaten me?" He dares to play the game. It was like he made the first move of a professional chess tournament. I knew after I make my move; Parker wouldn't have to worry about a lost cause anymore. "I dare to play your game if you let my mother and father go, Aiden" I offer, letting his name burn at the tip of my tongue. ~ Skye Blue The Line Breaker. She was the first ever hybrid since the early 1800's. She had the blood of a vampire and werewolf. She broke the balance, and now she has to suffer the cause of her parents mistakes. Yet on one night where the land was illuminated by the full moon, the beasts began to rise on two legs. The large cats and mongrels that typically fought against each other, banded together under one beast. It was a monstrous wolf the size of a lion with fur as white as the moon itself. "One by one, the beasts neared the town as they followed from behind the white wolf. As the villagers fled into their homes, the priest and his daughters gathered the day-hunters to his side. They watched as the approaching monsters stood and stalked the village fence. The wolf was strong and smarter than the rest. Even in its guttural snarling voice, it managed to speak to the priest. 'You've trespassed too long. Abandon your homes or forsake your lives.' The priest refused without hesitation and stared the ten-foot wolf down." Jake listened to the story with baited breath as he could see where the tale would go next.
