A year after her family dies in an accident Ember finds herself feeling alone in the world. When Blake seems to suddenly walk into her life, he changes it forever. However Blake has a secret he can't tell her; the angel can't seem to bring himself to, it's far too dangerous for the girl to know. But Ember keeps poking and prodding until he finally breaks and tells her his secret.
