The Human and The Vampire

Bella Swan, a 17-year-old girl moves to Forks on her own after dealing with problems in Florida with her argumentative mother and step-dad Phil. She starts high school so she can graduate and meets Emmett Cullen, a boy who has a dark secret. Bella nearly dies in a car accident but Emmett saves her and she recognises his eyes changing colour from black to a dark gold colour, his pale skin and his cold breath. Bella decides to find out more information about Emmett and his family by searching on the internet about humans and non-humans. She finds out from Emmett's cold and pale skin, his frozen breath and his eye colour that he and is family aren't human, and that they are vampires. Bella tells Emmett she knows his secret and he deeply falls in love with her. Bella realizes she is Emmett's soul mate when he kisses her one night in her bedroom. She goes too far and Emmett nearly loses control of Bella. He manages to pull away from her and warns her if he does anything to her in a harmful way, there would be a possibility that he could kill Bella while doing so. Bella tells Emmett she understands and takes it slow with Emmett. Bella goes to watch Emmett and his family play baseball. But disaster strikes when three bad vampires come across Bella and one of them james loses control, fakes a phonecall and holds Bella hostage in her old ballet studio. He bites Bella to turn her into a vampire but when Emmett, Edward, Jasper, Alice and Carlisle find Bella, Carlisle questions Emmett about Bella's transformation. He tells Carlisle he can't bear Bella becoming a vampire and refuses to save Bella's life as he fears he will kill her so he persuades Edward to do it instead and he does so.
