This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.

Along with Axel, a group of teenage boys wake up in a train with no memory of who they are or where they are going. They make up the remainder of the human population. They soon discover they are much further away from home then they thought. When they look outside, they realise the sky is black tinged with blood, the buildings are made of flesh and plumes of smoke escape from the cracks of the scorched grounds. Time does not exist here. Even the sun and moon has abandoned them. They quickly discover they are not alone leading Axel to believe he isn't the good guy after all. Truth to be told, he doesn't even think he's human. When Axel discovers something far worse then he could ever imagine, he knows no matter how much he wants it some stories won't have a happy ending. In fact, this might be the final ending for humans. Rumors have been flying ever since a group of scientist in the Feet City who were capable on the unsuccessful attempt of the nuclear experimentation. Due to the corrupted experiment, unexpectedly it leads to a nuclear breakage which causes the ejection of harmful chemicals and results to genetic mutation. Somehow, the genetic mutation generated the abnormal DNA disorder of human beings and caused them to become a flesh eating people. But the thing is that people didn't believe and just ignored the whole conspiracy. They continued their works, daily routine and basis. And there goes a class of Grade 10 Gethsemane students went to school, not expecting a big nuclear explosion that ejected a nuclear smoke and covered the entire campus. After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening. But, being forced to, teachers put together groups of 6, 1 teacher, with a group of kids, and taking 3 JK/SK students with them, from the elementary side of one of the 3 schools that occupy the large vast of land. When Alex is placed in her group, she knew it was going to be hell. But she doesn't let that overrule her. She knows she must do everything in her will to keep the little ones alive. When the moment finally comes, teachers and students all split, leaving the schools a ghost town, and everyone for themselves or the dead. But will their chance increase? Or will their survival be a waste? Who will live? And who will die? Was it all just a waste of time?
