A girl sits at a small, wooden table outside a café, a notepad rests in her palm as she twirls a pen around her finger.
Her long, curled, dark blonde hair is pulled up into a high bun and is secured with a long pencil right through the middle. Her eyes glow bright, green and she's smiling.
Staring at her from across is a boy in black, his eyes scan her while his hands draw her curves and her eyes onto a large, piece of canvas. He doesn't smile just traces over the lines already on the page while the girl smiles down at her blank page.
Then she looks up, and her smile grows.

Maya and Eli are strangers brought together out the front of a small café in Manhattan, they hardly talk but somehow they connect in a way only absolute strangers can.
When they leave the same thought appears in their mind.
"And I'll never see them again."
