Avian Steiner has been through more than she could imagine. She's part of a bloodline of wealthy people who have photographic memories, as well as lots of speed. Avian was a Military Policeman, who was arrested for knowing too many government secrets, and was placed in the Survey Corps. After a rape, she became the mother of a daughter who fears for her mother's life every day. Those events, along with the loss of her best friend and her parents, seeing how corrupt life inside the walls is, watching people die before her eyes, and having to put her life in other peoples hands, has shaped her to be the person she is now. Some would say she's insane. Some would say she's brave. But Avian just wants it to end.
