Birthright: Union Is a Steampunk Fiction that takes place within Maelesk, during a cold, brutal and bloody war, after a newly formed Union of two islands, Pidole and Arvinaz, assassinated the Tovasian king. Tovas declared war on Pidole and Arvinaz, starting the war of Adette.

The Birthright Book Series takes place on an alternative earth, called "Alter", which is our earth, but instead it consisted of four forges, or regions. Aria, Resigan, Uraein and Maelesk which were a multitude of different sized islands and climate. The culture of the people who lived in these countries, were very civilized and scientific, especially when the "Steam Revolution" took place in the mid 1800's, making the culture like an alternative Steampunk. This installment takes place in Maelesk, in the early 1900's during the war of Adette, in the eyes of Boxer, a spec ops agent from Merisota that was placed in the Compriat Division.

Stainburrow (Prologue) by Systis

Steampunk city with a type of regime, fantasy elements and vampires (a lot more like Alucard from Hellsing then this teen drama bullshiet) guy gets pushed into a rebellion by a pupet master like entity. Plus there is a horrific enemy with lots of gore which was inspired by monsters from deadspace. Look i am awful at powerphrasing. just read a couple of chapters (and excuse how bad the first one is, ill have to rewrite that one ;-;) and see if you like it. This now serves as a prologue to my current much larger book (Stainburrow) but it is very separate from it. It also requires a complete re-write. Should information in this conflict with something in that book than Stainburrow should be considered cannon rather than the prologue.

The plot/the "trailer": Our protagonist- Akret Cross, a loving mother as well as raised to be a war weapon. Two completely different things mashed up in one person. She got many issues from the past yet she is always the villain in the story for doing what she thinks is the best. For what she was taught. But she learns from her mistakes realizing what's good and bad, trying to not pass that burden onto her children and continues to develop her powers even when others would have quit in her shoes. But she's no ordinary person, and they don't know any of her pains. Watch her and many others stumble upon each other chasing their goals ending up at war. Will they clear the ashes of fading smoke after the fire they all caused between each other or will they forever remain at quilt for not responding?
