This story takes place a few months after Garnet joins the Crystal Gems ("The Answer" flashback). Having seen two different types of gems fuse, Pearl thought hard about the relationship between fused gems. 

Ruby and Sapphire's relationship had grown into a romantic one, to the point where the two of them are fused almost all the time.

This fan fiction will probably be really, really badly written, I'm not really good at writing stories. I would appreciate constructive criticism, areas I can improve on, what you think is good or bad about my story.
