‘The rusty handle on the door squealed in protest as Levi tried his hardest to wretch it open. Finally after more than ten minutes of pushing and pulling on the old door, it sprung to life pushing Levi over in its path. I laughed at the bewildered look that crossed his face and purposely stood on his finger as I stepped over him and began the dark decent that lead to the bottom of the abandoned building.
Once at the bottom, with Levi following closely behind me I trekked across the rough cold floor when suddenly I saw a beam of light ahead. I speed up wanting desperately to know what the light lead to. I approached with caution, if only I had of known what was lying ahead.’
Levi and Ariella become close rivalries when Ariella moves to California and goes to Levi’s school, one day after Levi persuades Ariella to spend the afternoon at his Father’s restaurant, they decide to take a walk to a close by abandoned factory. Once there the pair stumble across a trap door in the middle of the dusty factory floor.
The door withholds a millennium of secrets and is keeping hostage 24 girls who are being forced into prostitution. Levi and Ariella hear plans of the men holding these girls captive and discover that in 36 hours these girls are going to be shipped to Helvantini (A small make believe island off the cost of Bolivia) and $4.5 million worth of drugs will be sent back upon the arrival of these girls.
Not knowing what to do the duo decide to go to the police but are shocked to find that the police are in cahoots with the captors of these girls. So Ariella and Levi decide to take matters into their own hands and save these 24 women before their 36 hours run out.
