If you were born between 1990 and 2000,then   congratulations you're a part of the "Hype Generation". I refer to us as the Hype Generation, because there is this perception that nothing is worth our time or worth doing unless it attracts Hype. If it isn't trending, if it has no hashtag or a hit song, fact is, it'll likely go unnoticed. 

I'm not a scholar, I'm not a psychiatrist, I'm not even popular, I get like 40 likes on a good day in the right light.  My friends will tell you I'm a story teller and that's basically all im about to do. Tell stories and breakdown instances that make us (The Hype Generation) who we are. These stories will include but not be limited to my experience. I plan on giving  anonymous people a chance to share their stories, clear the air and just express themselves.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. You see, there are these apps where anybody can write books, stories and the sort and one day, scrolling the FB (which I don't usually do but I kill time with it on occasions) my eyes fell on a title that made me scoff. The title, 'Mafia in Love'. I remember I laughed terribly then, one of the very few times I laughed, or smiled for that matter. Some people truly feel they know anything about Mafia.
