Love knows no contract

Love is a tricky thing. Everyone knows about it but no one really knows what it is. Hamna Khan is your average girl, except not really. While everyone in her circle is getting married off or finding love, she thinks it's a waste of time. Things like love don't exist in her world.
Of course, she loves her family but the kind of love that's described in books or dramas for your partner, now that love she doesn't believe in.
Ever since she turned 18, she's believed that the romantic type of love someone feels for another is nothing but a need. A need that'll vanish with time. When argued that love isn't a need she always says "That's why people divorce often you know because the so called "love" they had for each other that made them get married vanished. When in reality, they only ever needed each other. When the need they had for each other is no more, they divorce. So much for true love huh?"
On the other hand, Usmaan Muazzam Khan thinks he doesn't deserve to love or be loved again. He tried to love once but look where that got him. Rather yet, where it got his wife. 6 feet under in the cold hard ground leaving behind him and their new born son, Ali Muazzam Khan.
It was because of him that his love died in labour. So, why should he listen to his mother and remarry when he'll just end up killing her too.
