If following the volume of her beating heart was all it took to find her and get her out of the god awful living situation she was in, why didn't he come and get her sooner? Aphmau was a werewolf who drew the short stick in life. Her parents had tragically passed away and from then on, she was stuck living with the current leader of the Pheonix pack, Balto. Nobody could've guessed how he treated her, given the fact that they put out their most unrealistic, happy selfs. Coincidentally enough, she lived just a sprint away from their newly sworn enemy, the Falcon Claw pack. The leader of said infamous Falcon Claw pack was Aaron Lycan. Though he was originally only made the Alpha of the pack due to his curse, he was a kind and strong leader who proved his worth. His curse could turn a human to a werewolf or kill them with a single glimpse of his crimson eyes. Of course, that wasn't really the most annoying part of being the Ultima. The annoying part was the constant beating of his soulmates heartbeat that he could hear in his ears. All. the. Time. And he desperately wanted to meet them. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol.
