The Orphanage

To you, we hardly exist
With your perfect lives outside the orphanage
Stuck in the back of your mind
Is our little home for nine

There's the girl who doesn't speak
And the boy with the scars
But we all have our problems here
That's what made us hard

Each one of us here is special
If only you could see
The marvelous things we do sometimes
Beneath the midnight tree

We were sent here for a reason
One we do not know
We always stand together
In the little orphanage we call home
