WHEN THE LAST OF THE WHITE LIONS FELL there was peace in the land of Arden for there were no good men left to fight.

Bronwyn, a Mage of the Flame and Guardian of the Peace, travels the eastern shore of Arden working to restore trust in the ruling Mages and heal the rifts in the land caused by the civil war.

Three years ago the Mages, gifted in elemental magic, followed Sallus, and freed a nation from the unjust rule of the king.

Now the luck of of birthright has been replaced by the meritocracy and wisdom of trained mages.

When an injured stranger from the north washes up on the shores of the village of Ashdown with a sealed message it falls to Bronwyn to deliver it to the Mage council in the eastern capital.

But not every citizen of Arden wanted a revolution.

As Bronwyn travels east she faces hostility from the people she has sworn to serve, she faces the ultimate question of who she can really trust.

When the crazy dangerous criminal code named Chaos was caught by the special organization, she willingly allowed them to arrest her without a fuss. Just like her code name suggested, she had caused havoc in different parts of the country and the world. Chaos had already guessed that she would go to prison soon. As long as there was food and clothing, she had decided why not stay in prison for some time until it got boring. And so, Chaos spent the rest of her years behind bars. Apart from eating, sleeping, weekly interrogations and fighting with other prison mates, Chaos, who had been curious about life in prison, found it to be very boring. But...she liked the peace that came with it. Unfortunately, her peaceful days did not last after she ingested poison from her food and she was very much aware. Did chaos die a sad death like that? No, Of course not. She dragged the person who poisoned her to her destination in the afterlife, hell. Unexpectedly, the hell for chaos was very different because she had transmigrated into a character in a novel that she stole from a prison guard. After understanding her pitiful situation, what was the next thing Chaos decided to do as an unfortunate character? Of course! She acted like her code name suggested, and caused chaos in her new life. She wrecked the entire plot! ****** WARNING: This book is not for the weak! Blood and violence is included! As long as people believed that there was a division between the Gifted and the non-Gifted, that one was superior to the other, I wasn't done. As long as there were kings on thrones to reinforce the idea that people like Porter and Briar and everyone else I cared about were unworthy of this world, I wasn't done. "And then," I continued, a resolution forming in my mind. "I'm going to destroy those six thrones." ********************************************** Wren Heatherfield has been through hell and back, surviving the deadly trials of the Garner and claiming the title of Garner Champion. However, her fight is far from over, with the real challenges only just beginning. With the loyalties and beliefs of her past and present self at war with each other, Wren must decide who she is and what she stands for if she has any hope of surviving this upcoming war. Plagued by nightmares and trauma from her time in the Garner, Wren must find a way to keep moving forward. With the weight of a crumbling nation on her shoulders, Wren has one chance to fix the injustices that plague Naturian and achieve her dreams of toppling tyranny, but the alluring power of the throne might prove too intoxicating for even her to resist. Princess Arafrey finds herself stripped of all she holds dear, alone on the frontlines. However, there is hope as guards Reyla and Tharin take on a quest from the Gods to cure the sickness, leaving Freya to traverse the Ten Kingdoms in search of The Hand of Miera. But will they be able to find it in time? Meanwhile, in the East, The Duran Empire marshals their forces as the Emperor seeks to invade the starved desserts of Sudra. But the Sudra hold a terrible secret and Queen Nymati will not go down without a fight. * * * Imagine if Tim Burton and Joss Whedon got together to make a story to rival Full Metal Alchemist or Fairy Tail: that's my writing style. I hit some pretty deep topics but I try keep it light and entertaining. Trigger Warnings/Mature Content: I will post trigger warnings at the beginning of scenes to warn people, but let's make a list here just to be sure. Sex, survivors guilt, suicide, rape, murder, gay/lesbian sex, masturbation, assault, torture, addiction... There maybe more I missed, let me know if you feel I should add anything else.
