I kept Jackie close as everyone stood in the coffee shop, talking and laughing. I looked around at paradise and had to smile. I hadn't been happier. I had Jackie by my side, I could go sailing every day, and surfing at night. I could climb all day if I wanted. And whenever I wanted to I could dive into the deepest part of the reef to see the fish and corals.

I sipped my coffee and pulled Jackie to the love seat in front of the fireplace. He sat down first so I could sit on his lap. It was our favorite position to cuddle.

"Hey, Jackie! Kala! What's up?" Moani asked with a sweet smile. We smiled back happily.

"We came for some coffee and company. Would you like to join us?" Jackie answered for us.

"I'm actually going to sail. I was wondering if you wanted to join in a race?" I gave Jackie a pleading look. I loved sailing.

"Sure, we'll follow you out." I jumped in his lap excitedly accidentally hurting his leg.

"Sorry, babe," I apologized with a small kiss. He smiled and shrugged as if to say it didn't matter. I got up and pulled him with me. He almost ran into me giving me a hug. I fell backwards but he caught me with a smile.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

We headed out the door and down to the beach. It wasn't far from the coffee shop. We rented a boat with some of Jackie's money and started sailing to where the races usually started. Me and Jackie were never beaten in the races. His dad was a sailer and so was my mom.
