Echo grew up in a colony with all sorts of forest animals who were trained to use a special power. You catch my drift?
Everything was peaceful, and the colony was faced with little problems. But when mysterious black creatures start relentlessly attacking their borders, Echo wonders if this world is as perfect as he thought.

He was pure black with a white patch on his chest. He was the alpha. Oh shit * * * This is my first book, so I hope you enjoy please give it a go. Lucy Parker Your average eighteen-year-old girl right? Wrong. When Lucy was eleven she shifted into a huge red fox. When she shifted she got this 'voice' in her head called Faith, that said she was her 'inner fox'. Over the years Lucy started shifting into other animals, from birds to cats, big and small, to wolves, small rodents, and much more. Lucy has been an orphan since she was ten when her parents died in a car crash. She is now eighteen with her own apartment and is about to start a new job but nothing ever turns out right for Lucy now does it? When Lucy is walking in the park one evening, she is kidnapped by three guys, that just won't let her go... *Some inserts not entire chapter* *They were chasing me but I was nearly in the forest when something tackled me sending sparks flying wherever they touched me. When I realised it was... Xavier? Who tackled me, I started to struggle in his hold, but I couldn't get out. "Calm down I'm not going to hurt you." He said softly with a small smile. I snorted, that's what they all say. "No, you're not, but I'm going to hurt you." I replied before bringing up my leg and kicking him where the sun doesn't shine. This caused him to roll off of me and I jumped up. so quick I nearly missed it, Xavier stepped forward and grabbed me so my back was pressed against his chest and his arms were holding my arms by my sides. I struggled, but that's when I realised, I'm too short to ram my head into his chin, my arms were held down and my legs completely useless. I. Was. There was a Spirit. A Spirit Wolf to be exact. She had fluffy white fur, and some parts as inside her ears, her paws, and her eyes glowed.This particular Spirit preferred to be alone. She did not like company. Only 2 years ago a raven wouldn't stop bothering her. Surprisingly, this bird became her beloved companion. He helps her with her job as a spirit-and distracts her at times. The Spirit Wolf's job is to bring life and to pass life. Bringing life is to help plants grow and to watch over all of the new mothers in spring. To pass life means to let a corpse sink into the ground and become one with earth itself. If the creature that passed had a good life, the Spirit would put them into the afterlife. If they died a very unfair death or was too young for their life to be over, she would help them reincarnate. She could not reincarnate a creature every time it was killed, though. It would only make them have infinite lives. The Spirit Wolf seemed unhappy when she did her job, but she enjoyed seeing the faces of pure happiness of the new mothers. To summarize her duty, she needs to keep the law of nature in order. Even though she despises humans, she helps them too.Complete

Because of that, Forest is whisked into a war between the Superiors, who are cats with super powers trying to take over the planet, and the rebels attempting to stop them to restore equality. Forest is forced to fight for the Superiors. The only way back to his home planet is if he helps defeat the rebels with the other Earth cats, despite his growing sympathy for the cats he is supposed to fight. That, or he loses his memory and will remain in Gardinia for the rest of his life as a mindless minion.
