Star Trek: A New Journey

*takes place in the three years in between Into Darkness and Beyond*
(If you have followed me in the past you would know I already have a Star Trek series. Those books were a mess so I unpublished them and now I'm redoing it)

Jana has been on her own since she was fifteen on planet Earth in the state of Iowa. Now five years later she is fighting to stay alive. She lives on the streets and goes to extreme measures just to have food, water, anything to keep her alive. The police and other people living on the street are after her. But all of that changes when she runs into a group of star fleet members and is taken in by them. When she thinks she is going back down to Earth and going to live in a home of her own, there is a change of plans. A group of Klingons are have kidnapped a woman in a location in uncharted space. The crew of the u.s.s Enterprise must go and stop them. On the way to the klingons, the crew runs into some obstacles and Jana learns some dark secrets about her past.
