The Great Storm would have destroyed Cheliv, had it not been for one woman alone. She saved the kingdom by absorbing the entirety of the storm, subsequently killing her. The dying savior infused bits of her power into certain Chelivvians. These people are known as the Zraix, each with unique abilities. Their eyes mark them as such, as their eyes are normally strange shades of common colors or have miniscule symbols in their eyes. Juno Sageheart is a well known Zraix, but in all the wrong ways. She works as a killer and is notorious for her ability. She (amongst others) is captured by the wealthy crown prince, Dascen Aurum, and his family after she kills his uncle. Under Dascen's watchful eye, Juno soon learns that not everything is as it seems in Cheliv. Juno was always a keen observer, but some things are better left unfound...
