Amber is what you call the Loner Girl but she wasn't always this way .... every since the death of her dearest friend Jake and her family troubles including  health issues. Shes believes nothing good will happen to her she feels the worlds against her, Amber doesn't know what worse things could happen next. But as she continues her education and goes to college she meets a new guy from the rich side of town who is the new student Nathan. Both of them are forced to work and come closer together, will Nathan be able to undo Amber's mysterious ways and unlock her past or well he do the same thing Jake did leave her unexpectedly.
