Emma Swan was abandoned as a baby. She grew up going from foster home to foster home. At the age of fourteen Emma finally finds a perfect home with her new foster mom, Ingrid. Three years later, Ingrid decides to adopt Emma, but Emma's birth parents suddenly comes into the picture. Emma ends up spending the summer before her senior year with her birth parents. But summer is almost over now and she must make a decision. Be adopted by Ingrid or stay with her birth parents?
