When Echo woke up he was still tied, but this time he was in a cage. The smell of musty concrete and decaying wood flew up his nose like a gust of wind. It was hot, really hot but it wasn't Echo's skin, it was actually the air. Echo looked around, dust filled the air like little fairies were floating in the air. The cage was metal but rusty. Echo wiggled his hands but the ropes wouldn't budge. The room was quiet, very quiet as if someone was watching. As soon as that thought crossed his mind there was some sound of laughter coming from the left of the room. Echo's head whipped towards the sound. The light right above echo turned on and started flickering. •-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-• Hey! My name is Kendall. This book was written by a really good friend of mine and his name is Ben. Ben is the author and comes up with all the ideas, I'm just the editor and I guess the not-really-known-publisher. I had decided the idea of posting the story onto wattpad (I obviously asked him if it was okay) and he agreed. About the author: Ben has been a good friend of mine a little over a year and he's one of those people who honestly can't get mad. He's always there making you laugh (try having a class with this kid, it's hilarious!) and he's always here for you when you're upset. Ben has become one of my best friends and I'm glad that I'm the editor of his book.
