In the year 2550, Earth was scarred by a war so devastating that it left entire nations in ruin. Millions perished, cities were reduced to smoldering rubble, and the fragile balance between world powers shattered. The chaos only subsided when a powerful organization known as The Order imposed a new world order-dividing the globe into twelve heavily regulated sectors. Two decades later, peace collapsed. Sector Twelve unleashed a brutal campaign against Sector One, crushing it with overwhelming force before sweeping through its neighboring territories. At the helm was Commander Wilhelm Schultz, a ruthless strategist whose ambition knew no limits. His gaze soon fell upon Sector Seven-the most technologically advanced of all. Seizing its innovations could cement his dominance over the remaining sectors, and so the march to war began anew. Amid the brewing storm, a young man named Vain journeys with his companions toward the towering spire of Gaiuss Tower. But their path is interrupted by the shadow of bombers overhead-and the deafening roar of destruction raining down. As the flames rise, Vain faces a choice: be swept away by the tide of war, or defy it... even if it means dying in the attempt.

Humanity once stood on the top of the world. They ruled the planet with an iron grip. Their rise in technology, industry, engineering, and science were quickly growing. However, an invasion on a worldwide scale had occurred in late 2023. Though there were initial successes in repelling these unknown, mechanical entities. They would eventually start to gain ground through quick adoption of newer variants of their beings and adjusting to counter common military tactics. However, more was needed, so came the introduction of Nikkes, an experimental female soldier that would be the first cybernetic frontline soldier. Even though there were attempts of converting males to such a task, they would become unsuccessful, as it was found out that males were more susceptible to cognitive dissonance and suicide. And so, females ranging from 18 to 30 years of age would remain the main source of Nikkes. As the war raged on, more variants of Nikkes would reinforce or replace the quickly diminishing forces of the world. There would be a significant breakthrough in the Nikkes, with the introduction of the Grimm models of Nikkes. Five Nikkes would be produced by a now defunct company. This squad would be called Goddess. They would be commanded by a special forces Captain Nicholas Miller, and through their first missions, they would further prove the effectiveness of specialized Nikkes and even push the Raptures back some. However, even their efforts would not be enough to stop the tithe of Raptures from encompassing Europe. After many years of fighting, there was one last desperate defense of a structure known as the Ark. Unfortunately, humanity would end up underground where they would spend the next 5 centuries fighting the raptures in smaller scale battles, skirmishes, and special operations. All while the fates of Goddess squad and the now legendary Captain Nicholas Miller had remained a mystery.
