Two large, red, bat-like wings poked out from under his cape. This was undoubtedly King Scorpan. "He holds the Staff of Sacanas," Saturn whispered to Luster, but she didn't hear him. She was mesmerized by the monster king, who did in fact hold the Staff of Sacanas. Luster Dawn bowed respectfully, and her friends did the same. "Greetings, King Scorpan," Luster Dawn said. "We are deeply honored to be in your presence." "Please, no formalities," King Scorpan laughed. "I'm just happy to have company for once."
