Stars. Pinpricks of light that hang suspended in the night sky, changing position with the change of the seasons. Balls of gas that still seem to shine even thousands of years after their death, yet people make wishes upon them.

Why? 

Would it not make more sense to make wishes upon the moon, something so visibly large and luminous, something revered in many different cultures and religions? It may wax and wane, becoming invisible to the naked eye, but it is still there, surrounded by its smaller, constantly shining brethren.

But even in a sky full of stars, why does the moon seem so lonely?

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be, Sakura." I swallowed hard, my body shaking. I can't believe this is actually happening. Who knew that it will actually end up like this? I knew that I have to save Naruto and Sasuke-kun so that we could run away and hide before it's too late. "I-I'm not opening the door." I took a step backwards, looking at the kitchen. There was a knife on the counter, I needed it. If he is going to break inside, I have to fight back in order to get out of here. I quickly get it and face the door once again. I take a deep breath and tighten the grip on the knife's handle. There was one big question that kept running inside my mind over and over again. When will this nightmare end? Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto suddenly found themselves stuck in their own "ideal world"; a world with no chakra, ninjas, wars and just peace, tranquility and happiness. Their loved ones who were once dead are alive and the place they called home is back to normal again. Everything seems perfect, right? Wrong. They soon find out the person who has trapped them in that world is out to kill them. What's worse is that he won't stop at nothing until they're dead and they don't even have chakra to fight back. Will they be able to escape and be safe? Or will they remain trapped forever? This is a Naruto fanfic for Kabuto Yakushi (the guy need some love), and for a theory I've had for a while. Kabuto is Kakashi's brother. Sakumo falls in love with a woman from a small, unknown village before she becomes pregnant with a who she names Koya. Shortly after his birth, Sakumo 'dies'. Years later, his home village is attacked and his mother is murdered before he narrowly escapes with his life. He doesn't remember anything about the attack or his life before it. He then obtains the name Kabuto Yakushi.
