Kelsey has been haunted by her father's death ever since she was eight years old. Now, he is turning up in her dreams. Or at least that's what she thinks they are. She learns quickly that nothing is really what she thought it was. Magic is real, there's a chance she could see her father again, and some people might actually be worth trusting. Particularly, one good-humored, green-eyed person. Most importantly, her brown eyes are more than the only decent part of her looks. The color of her eyes is the key to who she is, what she could become, and the power she has only to unlock.

I've always been a fan of progression fantasy. However, I do feel disappointed by many of them, with too many characters that vanish into irrelevancy, sometimes arcs that are overly repetitive and a lack of characters ideals. In this story, I aim to instill more character ideals, motivations, and integrate said characters throughout the story, and ensure their interaction with the main character remain relevant to his heart. Perhaps, it's best to say I want the story to have a 'human spirit' that one could feel in old-school wuxia and action/adventure stories.
