Rachel is not only the center of attention, because she's in 8th grade, but the center for bullies to pick on. No matter what you do, it seems at times you are helpless against bullying and just have to take the hits. But how does it feel to be helpless everyday? To Rachel, torture is not musical, and hurts your ears. Everything is always upside down in Rachel's life, except for her best friend Ava. But when she makes friendship with the new girl, Lanie, she wonders if the school year will really be that bad.
Who knows? Maybe surprises do happen in life.
