Nathan Blackwood and Joseph Luno have left their home dimension after a world-threatening battle took place, to then take on a reality-threatening event, in which multiple dimensions- including their own- seem to be crossing over with one another. To their knowledge, this is all caused by an old foe they overlooked and underestimated years prior.

Sonic The Hedgehog too had just won a battle of a similar scale on his home planet, successfully retaining seven mystical gems with the power to control time and space, the Chaos Emeralds. It is this power of the Chaos Emeralds that is proposed to be the cause of Nathan and Sonic's dimensions colliding.

Nathan and Joseph have been sent to Sonic's world to fulfill their duties as hunters with one mission: To confiscate the Chaos Emeralds. But little do they know, Sonic and friends have much experience in guarding and using them, and will not go down without a fight to protect them as they have always done.

But her powers may be for another threat. The three friends may have understood what Kate's power is. The Power of Dreams. But it seems that there was another reason why Kate had to understand her powers. A reason why she forgot her past and why she has her powers. A reason why she was brought to Mario and Sonic's world. A reason that endangered her, and has now put Mario, Sonic, and their friends into danger as well. And it's not like Bowser, Eggman, or any of their schemes. This threat is difficult to identify, when the only clues lie in nightmares that Kate is having. This is the point of discovery in the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate. This is the dark twist in the Tale of the Tale of the Three Heroes.

It's only a matter of when Sonic decides to show off his collection over the years. Ep13: A guys day out becomes something sad about Silver's past. Ep14: Mephiles finally gets a pinpoint on where Iblis is. Ep15: Jeffery is greeted by one of his old friends, but what he doesn't realize is that his old pal wants Niki. Ep16: Rich girl, Chloe think that Niki is taking her fame, so she goes to villains to try and eradicate the hedgehog. Ep17: Many secrets are kept and poured out between people. Ep18: With Mephiles wanting more power, he comes to Shadow only to control his body in getting the crystal. Ep19: Tails invites the team for his family get-together.
