The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. On their journey lots of interesting characters and animals are introduced. (It's fantasy if you didn't get that.) Upon hearing the Dawnguard, a group of vampire hunters are looking for some new recruits, she sets off to help them with a vampire problem. She thought her life changed when she found out she was a legend. A slayer and overlord of dragons. But when she unleashes a stunning (not to mention 4500 year old) vampire from her dark tomb and in turn gets turned into one of the undead. How will the citizens of skyrim react to her change. Will she be hated and hunted down or will Morgan and her new vampire lover Serana conquer all of tamriel.Concluida
