Reynard the Fox is the treasure himself.
He is exceptional. Sly and Tricky.
He has the extraordinary fur and many hunters will dare to snare it. Nevertheless, everyone who wants it must match the relentless schemes to lure it.
This is a modernized version of his folklore. As his human interaction will come after it and will recklessly face it to abound of lies, treachery, greed, and virtues of life in favor of to outwit the bully and manipulative creature that ever existed in fables.

"I can't do this..... I just can't...." "Why not?" "I failed her... I failed them all... They hate me... Everyone does..." "I don't hate you..." "..................Yes, you do.... You all do....." Welcome to Firewood Falls, New York, the home of an unusual friendship between an ordinary man and an international master thief. It all happened on Christmas Day. Roger Hale was once a happy man with a loving wife and son. But, he would soon find his whole world destroyed. A year later, to escape the tragedy that has befallen his life, Roger and his son, Luke, move to a small city in New York called Firewood Falls where Roger has now gotten a job at an Elementary school to remove his mind from what was taken from him. Roger was an ordinary man who spent his days trying to please people. To get him to like him. To not see him as a disgraceful failure his Father always saw him as. But, deep down, he hated the world. He despised it for society's lack of kindness or compassion. He felt that hatred and anger towards the world was the best way to cope with it. He refused to realize deep down that it wasn't. Luke was a 7 year old child who was incredibly lonely. He had absolutely no friends and was bullied constantly by kids all around him. He missed him Mom and he missed his old town. The only friend he's ever had was his Dad. Much like his Dad, he wanted to get people to like him, but the feeling was never mutual. But soon, both their lives would change with the mysterious arrival of a fox named Kitty, an international master thief. Roger never thought he'd form a close bond with a master thief, but Kitty was genuinely a kindhearted soul who loves making new friends. But, with the arrival of a corrupt INTERPOL agent and a group of black ops soldiers, Roger and Luke must help protect the young master thief from INTERPOL or risk losing their new friend.![Book 1:I'm The Fear... Unshackling the King (The Dragon Lorde #1)
"Yes, I am!!!" Kaede leans down to her ear his hot breath tickling her cheek in a tantalizing way, as swooping butterflies made way to her stomach. "I see. But that doesn't change the fact that you're a idiotic female, who will only serve as a distraction." The fluttering butterflies froze in her stomach and spiraled into icy icicles, as fury wraped tightly around her mind. "Indeed, I am a girl. But I'm also an idiotic girl who will follow you anyway. Even if her insufferable bodyguard says no." Emoriah, whispers threateningly. Kaede's dark penetrating gaze burns Emoriah to her core, as he peers down on her frame with a hardened expression upon his face. "You're playing a losing game Emoriah. But very well come. Robber Royale: Fairytale of a Thief and a Scoundrel
The notorious Fox and his (dashing) band of thieves and scoundrels, known for their wit, speed, and ability to disappear without a trace, have worked hard in the last few years to carve out a name and a refuge for themselves in the war-torn chaos of the Midlands. But with thinning resources and ruthless Captain of the Guard Uldien's personal vendetta, not only against Fox but seemingly all of the Midlands, the last thing Fox needs is a distraction. Gaelian, the opposite of a thief and a scoundrel (and just about everything else in the Midlands for that matter), is a distraction. A determined distraction. One who holds both the key to Fox's past and the burden of a dark secret that affects herself, Fox, and the fate of the entire Two Kingdoms. But will she be able to convince Fox to care? *ehem* (Meaning about the secret...of course. *winkwink*) Danger, adventure, clever banter, heroics, true love, a curse, and a happily ever after.
