Spoilers: Books 1-7, Star Wars™ Jedi Apprentice Series
Summary: A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Jedi Padawans Obi-Wan Kenobi and Siri Tachi are on a mission together just after the events of Secrets of the Jedi, after vowing to never mention or acknowledge their love for each other to uphold the Jedi Code. While on their way to a remote planet beyond the Outer Rim where their masters, Qui-Gon Jinn and Adi Gallia await them, their navicomputer suddenly goes haywire. Coordinates after unknown coordinates flood the shipboard systems of their cruiser, causing it to jump from one space lane to another. The overwhelmed hyperdrive plunges into hyperspace and the unknown, and the two Jedi Padawans suddenly find themselves looking at a friendly- but completely unfamiliar-looking planet.
Meanwhile, Harry Potter and his friends are preparing to start their seventh year at Hogwarts (technically their eighth, but since the previous one didn't count due to the war with Voldemort, the school decided to repeat the curriculum for that year). Ron and Hermione's fledgling relationship deteriorates steadily amid their constant bickering. Harry and Ginny break up and decide to remain friends after trying and failing to pick up where they left off. A new threat to the wizarding population emerges, and what would have been a "normal" year for Harry and his friends turns out to be just like the previous ones.
