Some people say that death is peaceful, like falling asleep. I'm here to tell you that all of that is absolute nonsense. Death is painful, frightening, and lonely.

That's right, you heard me. I died.
For some absurd reason, I was given a second chance. A chance to make my story worth telling to anyone who cared to listen. But I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll start at the beginning.
This is my story. The story of how I became Akina Morimoto, Kunoichi of Konoha.
