Ever since Shelby moved away from her hometown she has missed everything about it; the feel, the people, her (pretty much but not really) sister, Celeste and her boyfriend, oops, EX-boyfriend, Laine. Just before she moved away they broke up, they made up at the airport as she left but they never got over each other. Shelby has now been in her new town, Sherwood Park, for three years (Shelby is 14). She has had some bad times, and some even more good times, like meeting all her new friends. Since being there for three years, Shelby starts to develop feelings for someone else. When Laine makes an unexpected visited he realizes that Shelby moved on. In short, she is an extravert. she never hesitates before doing something which she thinks is right. Everyone loves and support her. Her small friend circle and family, everything is perfect fine. But then, she is Intrigued by her mysterious neighbour who just moved in. 𝙆𝙔𝙇𝙀 𝙇𝙀𝙒𝙄𝙎 He is different. Different from all other guys. He hates parties and crowded places. He doesn't talk much. And most of all, he always wears hoodies. Kyle doesn't give a shit what people say about him and he doesn't care about anyone.
