Future /past Love

There are only two characters in the beginning of the story a futuristic girl named Lacie and futuristic boy named Gabe, but both are in there teens. Lacie is a girl that dreams of the past then living in the present future time, but while daydreaming of the past she sees that she is late for school and bumps into her classmate Gabe. Gabe a smart young man that built a time machine from his father's blueprints, Gabe then shows Lacie the time machine he has built and intends to bring her to the past and show her that the time machine works.
When they test out the time machine they know it works, but they are baffled that they're in the past, then all of suddenly they get split up. Lacie wanders in excitement and meets a boy from the past named ----- whom she soon begins to love.
