Raven, Jules, and Ruby Wings were three eighteen year old sisters: adopted by the now deceased Jay and Robin Wings.
The girls have the ability to each control one element: ice, fire, or earth. And each of them can do something else: transform into an angel, a devil, or see and speak to the dead.
One dark night the girls are at the park and are confronted by the Sandman, a large blacker than black monster dripping with green ooze. It has a large mouth and no eyes.
They have to kill every person on the Sandman's list in one month or they themselves will be slaughtered.
"Tick tock tick tock" the low throaty growl came from its open mouth, he reached out and placed his hand on Raven cheek, it was wet with tears. He leaned in until they were inches apart "You've got 24 hours left, better not let it go to waste"

The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. Fire surrounded me and I opened my wings, appearing almost stationary in mid air only about 20 meters from the water. Before I could move them, a horrid shot of pain ripped through my wing as I fealt it tear. I shrieked and whirled around as my wings deteriorated and hit the water first. The bones in her body were breaking and bending joint by joint. Her muscles were tensing, bending and twisting. As she continued to convulse on the cold metal slab, the restraints around her wrists, ankles and even the retainer in her mouth caused her ever increasing pain as they began to cut into her inch by inch with every seizure like convulsion that tore through her. Tears streamed down her face as her just audible groans squeaked from her throat. She could only make out the dark ominous figure as it continued to inject the serum into her heart. Her breathing became so erratic that it caused her to lose conscience but only for seconds at a time. She could feel new appendages growing from her head and back. Even her tail bone was bending and snaking its way from her body and protruding from her posterior. Her teeth began to change shape and length as her jaw reshaped its self to form around the new arrivals. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning... Trina was a devout Christian and history buff. She had gained fame and a small fortune from her discoveries. However, she wanted nothing more than to prove that Heaven and Hell did exist and was willing to get the evidence anyway she could. She had no idea what she was about to release upon herself or the world... Vincent was a brilliant detective in solving histories greatest mysteries from the empty honey comb tombs of Bohol to the recently discovered city of Atlantis. A group claiming to by the government took them in for questioning, within 24 hours all of their parents, friends who weren't in the school, and realities all were dead. That is what Phantom had the power of doing. Present day Jane Moor, the now lone survivor of her school's explosion, has to decide if she wants to live a normal life or protect the ones she cares for. After 3 years of pain from Phantom, an organization hellbent for domination, she has gained strength and knowledge that few have ever discovered. Playing parts of the innocent, the killer, the friend, the child, the leader, and the dog she has had enough servings others. However, Jane knows what's coming and may be the only one that can not use it as an advantage. Her own powers battle against each other and the past fights the road she has chosen. Certainly they could trust that those in power ultimately had the best interests of the people in mind, right? ~~~ Luna slouched low in her seat, staring at droplets of water that ran diagonally down the window of the bus. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed.
