In Heaven, no angel is perfect. At one point in their existence every angel makes a mistake and every angel is given just one second chance. How? Community Service. They must protect an endangered human from harm for their whole life – from birth to death - and are therefore given the rank of Guardian Angel. Most angels are grateful to be given a second chance. That is most Angels except Levi. This is Levi’s 4th chance and God’s forgiving nature is wearing thin.
Enter Riley. She thought her life was normal (don’t they all?) until she starts hearing voices in her head and unseen forces pulling her away from danger. Levi is watching over her.

But Riley is different.

Riley isn’t Levi’s usual human. She’s entirely different. The choices she makes now will affect her soul – will it go to heaven or will it be chained in hell?

But Levi is tainted. His faith is weakening and his angelic powers are deteriorating. Hell senses this and it won’t be long before they force him to join them by any means necessary; no matter whose lives are destroyed in the process…
