It is all a normal hot Alabama summer for Stacie Rover.  Until recent attacks start happening .  The police can't find the killer. But what if the closest person to her is the killer. Is it her dad's girlfriend? Her  best friend?  Or the store clerk who looks like he has a secret to hide?  While on the journey to find a killer she finds something she wasn't looking for... herself.
